Dr. Stuthman is retiring after 42+ years of working on oat genetics and oat improvement. He is a native of Nebraska and holds a BS degree from the University of Nebraska/Lincoln, and MS and PhD degrees from Purdue University. He and his wife Judy look forward to spending more time with their two daughters and their families in Minnesota. We encourage you to submit a letter or photograph to be compiled into a remembrance book for Deon or, if you prefer, to send a personal email directly to him (stuth001@umn.edu). Also, we invite you to contribute toward the purchase of a retirement gift for Deon.
