(1976) from the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics, was the keynote speaker at the 2008 CFANS Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 11. He is currently Senior Vice President for Government Affairs for the American Stock Exchange (Amex). Past positions include Vice President of Government Affairs for the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) (member of the 911 disaster recovery team and worked as the Washington D.C. liaison with the White House, FEMA and the Department of Energy as well as New York State and city emergency agencies working to restore trading on the Exchange), MN Commissioner of Agriculture, 1979-1983.
