Research and education; Legume molecular geneticsPh.D.: Wisconsin (2005) Year Appointed: 2008 Rank: Assistant Professor Primary Responsibilities: Legume molecular genetics Research Interests: My research focuses on soybean molecular genetics. Specifically, my lab is interested in defining the transcriptional variation present in soybean at both the intragenomic and intraspecific levels, and assessing the relationship between this transcriptional variation and phenotypic variation. We are also interested in identifying the genetic and epigenetic causes of this variation.
