Specifically, my lab is interested in defining the transcriptional variation present in soybean and assessing the relationship between this transcriptional variation and phenotypic variation. We are also interested in identifying the genetic and epigenetic causes of this variation. Additionally, I am responsible for course instruction in plant molecular biology and chromosome biology. I will begin teaching in the Spring semester 2009.
