The Bachelor of Science in Applied Plant Science provides students with a strong science background and integrated knowledge of biology, the environment, production and industry in preparation for continuing graduate studies or careers in:

 

 

 

  • Improvement of the quality and benefits of plants and plant products;
  • Industry, government, and academia as research scientists;
  • Public agencies and private organizations that oversee and manage natural resources;
  • Advisory, inspection and certification services;
  • Implementing and regulating bio-safety and food security;
  • Agricultural and life-science education
