USDA-ARS Legume Genomics Position

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Plant Science Research Unit in St. Paul, MN, is seeking a full time, permanent, Research Geneticist (Plants). The salary for this position is at the GS-12/13 level, $79,968.00 - $123,617.00 per year. This position is in the Plant Science Research Unit located at the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, MN. The incumbent will join an interdisciplinary team focused on alfalfa and soybean improvement, plant-microbe interactions, and agroecology. The incumbent’s goal is to combine molecular and physiological studies in order to understand mechanisms regulating root architecture and function, and to develop genomic, molecular genetics, and/or biochemical tools for improving soybean and alfalfa.
