Meet Beatriz Bizzuti Cremostim, APG's new assistant professor and forage extension agronomist.
Beatriz is a native of Brazil, where she earned a BS in agronomy at Faculty of Agronomy and Forest Engineering of Garça and an MS in animal science and PhD in forage systems from the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture at the University of São Paulo. During her doctoral training, Dr. Bizzuti gained international experience working on pasture-based systems at the University of Florida. After completing her PhD, she joined the University of Wisconsin as a research associate in the Forage Systems Agroecology Lab.
Beatriz will lead our Forage Extension Agronomist Program, where her work will focus on identifying key gaps and challenges in Minnesota’s forage systems and developing research- and extension-based solutions to address them.
