Congratulations to Jeffrey Coulter, who was named an ASA Fellow at CANVAS 2025.
CANVAS, formerly the ASA, CSSA, SSSA International Annual Meeting, was held November 9-12 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The annual meeting is hosted by the Madison, Wisconsin-based American Society of Agronomy(ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA).
Coulter, who joined the faculty at the University of Minnesota in 2008, is a corn researcher focused on identifying and understanding agronomic practices that increase crop productivity, profitability, and sustainability of corn‐based cropping systems. This is done through field research conducted at university research and outreach centers and on working farms, which serves as the foundation for educational programs for agricultural professionals and farmers.
